We understand the importance of accessibility, which is why Mercado de Babel operates on a schedule that caters to the needs of busy shoppers. From Monday to Friday, you can visit us between 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM. On Saturdays and eve of holidays, our doors are open from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Outdoor Street Market Excitement
Thursdays and Saturdays at Mercado de Babel bring an extra dose of excitement with our vibrant street market (mercadillo). Positioned between the streets of Pardo Gimeno, Asilo, and Guillén de Castro, this bustling marketplace accommodates a maximum of 507 stalls. On these special market days, you can explore a wide array of additional vendors offering an even greater selection of products including fresh fruits and vegetables, clothing and houseware items.
The street market operates on Thursdays and Saturdays, except on holidays when it is held on the preceding business day. You can enjoy browsing and shopping from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere and discovering unique finds.
