ABOUT

The Gregorio Marañón University General Hospital is an organization with a history of over four hundred years, constantly evolving to adapt to the needs of our patients. Currently, it comprises more than 7,500 professionals distributed across a hospital complex with over 20 buildings, including various healthcare centers, as well as two specialty centers and two mental health centers.

Our hospital is recognized nationally and internationally as a top-level institution due to the high degree of specialization among our professionals, their renowned teaching and research capabilities, and the advanced technological resources available. We handle a significant volume of healthcare activities.

In the realm of education, our university hospital plays a decisive role in training medical doctors, biologists, pharmacists, psychologists, chemists, hospital radio-physicists, nurses, and specialized technicians. The Gregorio Marañón Health Research Institute focuses its research activities in seven areas, chosen for their scientific coherence, solidity, and social and healthcare relevance. This makes our healthcare center a well-established reference among the scientific community for its contributions to basic and applied scientific knowledge in medicine.

Our future objective is to continue working towards a permanent pursuit of quality and excellence in healthcare services for our patients, with efficient management of our resources and a continuous drive for improvement. Our commitment to surpassing ourselves on a daily basis is aimed at positively impacting the citizens we serve, who are the reason for our existence and the cornerstone of our activities.
